I really want to know about Lemar's sister as well, that was a hell of a Look she was giving.
In the comics Val has a long history but is probably most important as a SHIELD agent who eventually leaves to becomes Madame Hydra, and had a big role in Secret Invasion, which is one of the phase 4 planned tv series. I kind of hope that means she's the power broker rather than bringing back still yet more Hydra, though.
