I think we all know the true hero of this episode - that super adorable yet blood thirsty owl! I immediately went, well now we know what they did with the CGI budget. Though also, heroes really need to stop murdering goons for gags.

I really liked this episode, and I think I'm going to like it next year when I can binge all the episodes closer together. Still really into the music choices.

Do you think we're going to see Jack again? I admit, I enjoyed him and Kate in this episode. What a goof.

Also, the iddy part of my brain really wanted Yelena to invite herself out to the farmhouse like the feral child she is so she could spend time and choose whether she wanted to be a part of Natasha's other family.

It was interesting how the episode blended silly fun with some major angst for the three women. I enjoyed the whole thing.

I still didn't get how Laura's watch would have ended up in the remnants of the Avengers facility given she wasn't there during Endgame.

I think Clint kept it on him all the time after Laura got blipped in IW. It probably fell off his wrist after the Avengers compound collapsed on his head.

I really like how you pointed that out about the fun/angst that surrounded Kate, Yelena, and Ma Bishop. And with Kate's mom, I mean, I was almost there, but she applied her ruthlessness very oddly for me - so I didn't buy her as a bad guy.

I think they just whiffed on the watch mystery? But I hope the fanfic writers have themselves a good time with it!

On my account post, someone suggested that Clint had been wearing Laura's watch to keep it close to him and that's how it ended up lost in the compound.

I mean sure, I saw that, but it's still just a watch? It's a shield watch with the number 19 on it. So all this was over a retirement present? The show didn't well show me what the big deal was, or at least it went over my head.
