I definitely want to hope that Evan being cast as Pietro in this series is a gentle introduction of X-Men into the MCU. Can you imagine? Agatha plucks Peter up from the Multiverse, shoves him in here and brainwashes him? Amazing and sinister, and something that really goes in line with Wanda controlling the citizens of Westview. (I have really enjoyed Evan in this series so I can only hope he can stick around.)
I definitely don't think Hayward gave an ounce of a fuck about whether or not Wanda would be distressed at seeing Vision dismantled. I wouldn't be surprised if he hoped for it. I think it was a manipulation tactic. He said something to her that I can't remember verbatim that heavily implied he knew she was capable of resurrecting him. I felt he planted that idea in her head and that he allowed her to see Vision because she could've been a clue to reactivating him again. I feel like he never does anything without a selfish intention. He's kept Monica as far away from his power seat as much as possible because he knows she can usurp him from being the captain of the SWORD ship, and I definitely think he knows that Wanda is a key player in reactivating "the Vision". (And turns out, she is!)
From your keyboard to god's ears, PLEASE LET US HAVE A TENTH EPISODE. Marvel never does anything by accident. (Amazing pick up.)
