Loki s2 finale, "Glorious Purpose"

(Which was also the title of the first episode of season one!)

WELL. GOSH. THAT WAS CERTAINLY A FINALE. I still don't know how I feel about it but I had to watch it all over again immediately. That final sequence is maybe one of the most beautiful I've ever seen in the MCU, I was dying to see it on a big screen. But OMG! Was that a smile at the end, or not? Is he happy? What do you all think?

It was certainly amazing!

Yeah, I was satisfied with that ending -- I felt like it was fitting for the character and his place in the MCU. Also, I felt like it was where he was headed all along so it wasn't like the ending took some sort of abrupt turn.

Oh interesting. I thought she was going to get eaten too. But from what someone said they are pivoting from Kang but instead bringing in Dr. Doom -- no doubt the better to reboot Fantastic 4 with.

I loved it, and I just wrote a reaction post over at my journal. I think it's a fitting ending for Loki's story, taking on the role of the Norns as the weaver of fate - because he's the god of chaos. He's the one who defies fate, again and again and again. Who better to weave it than the only one who can bend it to his will?
