After a fallout between Clint and Kate, the younger archer is ready to abandon her dream of becoming a hero. Meanwhile, a guilt-ridden Clint prepares to go face-to-face with the Tracksuit mafia, owning up to past actions. Everything changes, however, when Kate makes a surprising discovery.

Well, it's all out in the open now! Well actually, I'm still confused about Laura and the watch. But it's mostly all out in the open!

I love Yelena so much, she's so smug, so boss. That conversation with Kate, I don't even know how the actors kept a straight face. It didn't feel like Kate got through to her at all in that conversation (or she didn't get through to me at least. I have many Ronin issues) so I was surprised that Yelena turned around at the end to give her the info about her mom.

Also, poor Kate.

The Laura part reallly confused me too.

I have a theory that Laura is an escaped Black Widow. Wasn’t she speaking Russian in an earlier episode?

She was speaking German. I think she's a SHIELD agent that was burned. We have no evidence that she ever leaves the farm. (I'm wondering if that watch has safehouse locations in it, which might lead right to the farm)

This was one where the reveals weren't reveals, except maybe for translator dude knowing all along about the hit on Echo's dad

Somehow I missed that the fireman is named Grills and I can't say more because who knows what stuff from the comics is coming in

But oh, I love Yelena and I loved the snappening experience in the cold open. I hope Clint and Yelena get to talk

The snap was so VISCERAL. It really got to me, the suddenness of the whole experience - like time travel, or waking up from a 5-year coma.

This was another episode that went by quickly to me, and I'm looking forward to what happens next! Some thoughts I posted about the episode.
