Hide and Seek

Clint Barton desperately wants to get home in time for Christmas. But first, he needs to help Kate Bishop disentangle herself from the Tracksuit mafia and a real-life murder mystery. Kate, clearly a skilled archer herself, welcomes Hawkeye's guidance - she's a big fan. Clint, however is an unwilling mentor. He knows she's no match for the TSM, so Clint will have to take them on.

Jack continues to creep me out, and I'm very interested to see what he knows about what he knows.

LARPING Clint was so funny, and that combo of he's so done with being patient but also patient enough to make that guy's day was so good. I haven't been that big of a fan of his through the MCU and I have about a billion problems with Ronin, but I like this Clint.

Kate is such a disaster, and I kinda love her.

Are we suppose to know that woman at the end?

Yeah, I like this Clint too. This being-done-yet-patient strikes me as a dad thing and I'm one of those people who loved that Age of Ultron gave him a surprise family.

Apparently the woman at the end is Echo. I'm not familiar with the comics and I'm avoiding spoilers, so all I know is that she's deaf.

• Why does Clint still want to get the Ronin suit when the place is on fire? Wouldn't it be easier to let this piece of evidence burn?


• The name on Kate's aunt's doorbell says "Moira Brandon", as does the poster on the living-room wall. So is she an actress or chose that name because she loves the movie or something?


• Stealing something from a scene! Grills could have lost his job if his colleagues and cops weren't fellow larpers.


• I'm worried that Jack's obvious shadiness is a red herring and Kate's mom will turn out to be the baddie.


• Kate and Clint have now both done Natasha moves. Kate a physical one, Clint a tactical one. *sniff*


• Echo's introduction is soo cool!

If it burned, but the sprinklers were going pretty good by the time they decided to run, so he probably had to come back to check no matter what. I wonder how he let it get out of his hands in the first place.

Nice call on Jack's possibility of red herringness! I will be extra suspicious moving forward. But I don't want it to be Mom, I like her a lot so far.
