A place for Marvel/Star Wars Disney+ shows.

+ On March 16, the Marvel Netflix shows will all appear on the streaming service, meaning the whole Defenders crew. If anybody's looking to arrange a community rewatch, now might be the time ;)

+ March 30th Moon Knight premieres! Anybody up for doing the community reaction posts? (due to my job, I'm eternally not available for this) The Best Marvel Moon Knight Comics to Read Before the MCU Series from CBR looks to be a good comics primer, and not with a long list of things to read.

+ May 25th Obi-Wan Kenobi premieres. And it seems composer John Williams has returned to write the score!

+ Ms Marvel is still listed as TBD Summer 2022, and She-Hulk a general 2022 TBD. Ironheart seems to have slipped over to a 2023 TBD (starts filming in June 2022).

+ Throwing a promo in here: superhero_land has relocated to Dreamwidth, and will be starting up a new round soon. Apply for a team here. Anything from Marvel and DC are covered as Acceptable Fandoms, including the comics. That covers Star Wars as well.

+ If anybody is interested in co-modding, please do let me know.

1. We're thinking of a format for events in this community. Firstly, a show-centric prompt-a-thon whenever a season finale has aired, for all fanworks. Secondly, a multi-fandom prompt-a-thon every three months (first would be April 1st, and will exclude currently airing seasons so nobody needs to worry for spoilers).

Thoughts? Any other suggestions?

2. On March 19th Falcon and the Winter Soldier starts up. (EXCITE) We'd love for someone to sign up to do the weekly reaction posts here. It's not a binding agreement or anything! If you find the show just isn't for you, or life gets in the way, you just let us know and you're off the hook :) Done!

3. fueschgast has joined me as co-mod. We're still figuring out our roles, but I now don't feel so alone in all this! Please give her a warm welcome.

Disney sure is ramping up their plans for Marvel and Star Wars content, huh? Hopefully this community can serve as a meeting ground for people wanting to talk about all the new shinies.

Some basic guidelines:

* Comments make the fandom go round. See something you like, let em know!
* Any and all spoilers go beneath a cut, and are marked as such. This includes casting information and trailer reactions. Mild spoilers for episodes that have been out for over a week is ok.
* If posting icons, post up to four teaser icons, the rest after the cut/following the link. Spoilers count in icon-form as well, so no icons from episodes less than a week old outside of a cut, please.
* No graphics bigger than 400x400 outside of cuts.
* Any and all content is welcome for new or old Disney+ shows related to Marvel and Star Wars. (Fics, art, recs, meta, vids, graphics, discussion & question posts, reviews and general thoughts, podfic, crafts, resources, news, promoting challenges and exchanges related to Disney+ shows, etc. We may have to reconsider our approach to fic if we start to get a lot of fic announcement posts.)
* Tagging is strongly encouraged (organization! woo \o/).
* No AI fanworks.
* Do not post content made by others, but please do link to it. Sharing is caring <3
